Terms
The rules for using cowpath, in plain words.
Updated 17 October 2026
cowpath
cowpath is a command-line tool, a web app at cowpath.sh and a connector for agents. These terms cover all three. By installing cowpath or signing in, you agree to them.
Beta
cowpath is in beta and free. Features change, and some may go away. We work to keep it running and your data safe, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors.
Your work
What you put into cowpath stays yours: your processes, runs and playbooks. You allow us to store and process it only to run cowpath for you and your workspace. We don't train AI on it.
You are responsible for what you put in. Don't add secrets, or personal data about others that you aren't allowed to share.
Your account
Keep your email account safe: it is how you sign in, and what happens under your account is yours. Anyone in a workspace can read and edit its playbooks, and every version records who made it. Workspace owners decide who is in.
Fair use
Don't use cowpath to break the law. Don't attack or overload it, try to reach other people's workspaces, or resell it without asking.
Stopping
You can stop at any time: cowpath uninstall, remove the connector, delete your workspace. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms.
Liability
cowpath is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect damage or lost data; cowpath export keeps a copy of your playbooks whenever you want one. Nothing here limits liability the law doesn't let us limit.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version; using cowpath after a change means you accept it. How we handle your data is on the privacy page.
